What is melt screen chager?

Melt screen changer including one or more filter devices. When the polymer fluid flow throught the filter device, the different material and not plastic particles in the melt are blocked in one side of the filter. the filter are Supported by a breaker plate, while the breaker plate are installed in the support carriage; support carriage parts can move, stay in the work place or non-working position.

Melt screen changer is available supporting the device as following: extruder, melt pump, reactor or other extrusion lines. It can be used to filter any type of polymer, rubber or ceramic materials.

Application of screen changer

Melt screen changer is usually used in the extrusion line, for example, the resin granulation process after polymerization , engineering plastics compounding pelletizing, plastic recycling granulator, blown and cast film extrusion, sheet extrusion, pipe and profile extrusion, rubber mixing, and ceramics extrusion, etc.

For different extrusion lines and production processes, a variety of screen changer have been designed. Manual screen changer suitable for slow speed of changing, it can temperately stop the production process; Automatic screen changer is suitable for fast speed of changing, the extrusion process can not stop or slow down the extrusion process.
